With an impressive property, trade and services offering Whitianga hosted it’s second annual home show – with Ray White Whitianga exhibiting alongside fellow businesses at the event.
The event, known as the Mercury Bay Home and Trade Show was held at the Whitianga Hall on Saturday 25 October. Organised by the Whitianga Business Association, the event was established to allow property owners to source inspiration from local tradespeople, retailers and service providers whilst discovering the latest in products and trends.
Ray White Whitianga used the home show to profile current properties, sold properties and the Ray White Whitianga team – whilst also providing customers with Market Reviews, complimentary appraisals and the opportunity to enter to win a Ray White retro bike. Close to 100 entries were received for the Win a Bike competition with Sandra Robertson (pictured above) drawn as the lucky winner. The business recently gave away two more of the Ray White bikes via their Ray White Whangamata office’s support of the Whangamata Beach Hop and are looking forward to other summer giveaway featuring the classic-styled bikes which are proving a hit with the community.
“The Whitianga Home Show was a fun event showcasing Ray White in our area. Because we don’t have a physical office in this town, it was great to show that Ray White has significant presence in Whitianga, we showed our successes and put a friendly face to the names. The Ray White retro bike is getting very well known now and everyone wants one so it is a great tool for us. I am looking forward to giving away another one. The opposition looked very corporate and we looked like we were selling a fun beach lifestyle.” says Steve Morrison, Ray White Whitianga Business Owner.
The Ray White Whitianga team received a number of appraisals from the event – and with all of the entries to the win a bike competition being homeowners from the area – the office also significantly increased their customer base. A few attendees were also looking to buy and sell through Ray White having seen them at the home show.
“There were so many positive comments about the stand and the growing presence of Ray White in the community. It is positive to see our businesses making the most of the opportunities presented to them. Events such as this are a great way to profile our agents and brands out in the community – by really getting involved” says Rae Beale, Ray White Business Performance Manager for the Central and Lower North Island.
Close to 400 people attending the event with Ray White one of only two real estate agencies represented. This was the first year Ray White Whitianga had attended the event but they are already looking forward to next years show.
