Before Vincent and the Anne Duncan team sold my house in July 2016, I had sold three houses in Auckland in the past thirty years. All three experiences had been quite negative. My wife and I recently purchased our new home through the Anne Duncan team. After many months missing out to investors or not meeting vendor expectations at auction when we had reached a point where we had almost given up. Luckily we spotted our property on the AD website however the auction was in three days and there was lots of interest . Anne and our charismatic agent Vincent were available to meet our requests at the last minute and were very helpful on auction night. They had clearly worked with the vendor to set a realistic reserve and meet the market. Their casual yet professional approach put us at ease on one of the most stressful nights of our life. After success at the auction they were available through to settlement to answer various questions and liaise with the owner. Hi Anne, This is just a quick note to thank your team for the truly excellent way that the sale of our house has been managed, promoted and concluded. Jamie and Vince have been totally professional in all our dealings, have communicated with us as the need arose, and maintained a re-assuringly positive attitude even when things were going pear-shaped on a couple of occasions. Their ability to communicate the advantages and features of the property rather than dwell on the negative issues was, I believe, the reason for obtaining a successful outcome. There has been much discussion recently in the media about the fees charged by Real Estate agents, but I believe that your colleagues thoroughly deserve their share after working so diligently and successfully on our behalf. Anne and Vincent worked very hard promoting my property. Anne with her ‘down to earth’ approach certainly gained my confidence and trust. Vincent also and of course his sense of humour is priceless! I’d like to pass on our experience in selling our house with ADRE, and in particular Vincent Barnao and Emma Duncan. Our experience started well before listing our property. We met Emma and Vincent at an open home we attended – about 3+ years ago. From that point Vincent and the team maintained regular contact, and never in a pushy way. Xmas party and Easter Egg hunt invites were well received. Vincent and Emma visited a couple of times and offered rental and sales appraisals (although we didn’t win the Queenstown trip). Once we decided to sell our house, ADRE was top of mind and Vincent was very helpful in uncovering what we wanted to achieve. In the lead up to listing the property, Vincent visited and provided some advice to get the house in best shape to sell. This proved invaluable and he made sure that we focussed on things that would add value. His regular weekly check-ins made sure we kept on track, and we felt supported that we were doing the right thing! Vincent was always happy to provide impartial advice and was very factual about how things were tracking. His confidence gave us peace of mind, and we believe the campaign that was put together certainly helped achieve a result beyond our expectation. Vincent has worked closely with our family over several house purchases and sales in and around the central Auckland area.
