Voting is now open for the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand positions of Regional Directors.
The Ray White Group has two agent licensees and business owners standing in this year’s election. Megan Jaffe MBA, AREINZ, Licensee Agent REAA 2008 is standing for Region 1 which covers Auckland and Northland; and Tony McPherson AREINZ, Licensee Agent REAA 2008 is standing for Region 4 which covers Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury and Westland.
Ray White is proud of our candidates who are standing for positions with the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand. Ray White was the first company to adopt a position of total membership in that all offices, agent licensees and licensee salespeople are members.
Ray White has a strong belief in the Real Estate Institute and we recommend our candidates who are standing for election in Region 1 and Region 4.
Tony McPherson has been the Regional Director for Region 4 during the past year which has been, as most are aware, quite disruptive in many respects due to the Christchurch earthquakes and changes in many of the market areas. Tony has been highly influential in his advice to the broader membership of the Real Estate Institute and also in his role as the spokesman for the industry in Region 4. His role has been described by Rosanne Meo to be one of the most difficult throughout New Zealand and that she is quoted as saying Tony has done an exceptional job in very trying circumstances.
Megan Jaffe is standing for the Regional Director of Region 1 which covers Northland and Auckland. Megan has highly successful Ray White offices in Remuera Road, Upland Road and Orakei. Her team comprises 25 salespeople, with her market share continuing to grow year-on-year during her six years of business
ownership in the area. Megan has a background as a registered nurse, business manager and business consultant in the health care sector before moving into the real estate industry in 2002. Megan’s commitment to the industry has never been stronger with the focus on recruitment and retention of high calibre licensee salespeople as well as providing a career path for youth within the industry. A culture of excellence is one which sits neatly alongside Megan’s business success. Ray White formally endorses Megan Jaffe as a candidate for Region 1. To vote for Megan Jaffe please follow this link.
Voting closes at 5pm this Friday, 2nd November 2012. The Principal Licensee for each agency member has two votes. Directors who hold Associate status have one vote together with AREINZ, FREINZ and Life Members also having one vote. For further information on the voting process please click here.
