Ray White Wanganui barbeque raises cash for Riding for the Disabled

The team at Ray White Wanganui hosted a BBQ and coffee breakfast outside its premises on Wednesday morning to raise money for Riding for the Disabled. The visible central office attracted plenty of interest from people passing by as well as hungry locals.

They bought enough bacon and eggs for several hundred people and it was pretty much cleaned up.

The real estate agents put on the food and asked breakfast-goers to put in a gold coin donation.

“It was just to say thank you to people for supporting us this year and as a way to get staff together to do something,” said Ray White Wanganui principal Tim Hocquard.

“Riding for the Disabled is a local organisation that needs everything it can get so that was our way to have a go at seeing if we could get people to put their hand in their pocket.”

“Our free BBQ this morning was a great success! Thank you to everyone who came down and helped us support Wanganui Riding for the Disabled, we hope you enjoyed your breakfast. A massive thank you to Mark at Jolt Cafe for serving the delicious coffee, and to Display Associates for providing the signage. Without your help community events like this would not be possible.” Hocquard added.

Ray White Regional Manager Graeme Smith said, “these events do so much good for many people in our communities and Ray White loves to support where we can. Well done Ray White Wanganui.”
