Ray White supports Life Education Trust Charity Day

RaceDayThe Ray White Group is a proud supporter of Life Education Trust and were involved in the 11th Annual Life Education Trust Charity Day held on 27 September 2014.

As part of the charity day, Chairman Lance Hutchison organises a race day at Ellerslie which includes the feature races of the Bonecrusher Stakes and the Ray White New Zealand Mitchelson Cup. This year a large crowd gathered in support of the Life Education Trust, with mascot to the Trust, Harold, being welcomed by the crowd with many attendees supporting Harold’s livery that was available for purchase.

The Ray White Mitchelson Cup was Race 4 on the program with a field of seven runners. Ethical was the winner and in presenting the cup to the winning connections, Carey Smith, Chief Executive of Ray White New Zealand, said he was very proud that Ray White could be part of the Life Education Trust Charity Day. “All of our members have a strong belief in ensuring that our next generation is cared for and as a family based company, the Life Education Trust shares many of the values Ray White holds dear.”

In line with the business partnership of Ronald McDonald House, Ray White have now been part of the Life Education Trust Charity Day for the past four years.

Carey Smith made special note of Phil Horrobin’s support through the City Realty Group who are members of Ray White and who sponsored Race 5. Phil Horrobin said that he also felt that in supporting the Life Education Trust that he was also supporting the future of those less fortunate than many of us and was thrilled to be able to be participating in the day.
