Ray White Russel have been busy recently helping out at the Russell Primary School Fair.
With only 80 children attending Russell Primary School, the fair which is only in its second year is already a great success attracting nearly 2,000 people on the day.
With a the theme of an old fashion school gala, attractions included tug of wars between the local fire brigade and ambulance crew, high school and primary school, boat club and bowling club and many more. With games including a coconut shy, throw the gum boot, cream pie at the teacher, nail in the post, as well as face painting, bouncy castles, local musicians, story tellers, and spot prizes every few minutes, all culminating with a hangi at the end of the day.
The Ray White Russell team were busy throughout the day selling fish cakes to the hungry masses, and entertaining the kids with “Guess how many Ray White balloons are in the fishnet.”
All up over $14,000 was raised for the school, an amazing result for such a small community.
