New Zealand is set to redefine best practice in the global real estate industry as Ray White Remuera is formally recognised both in New Zealand and internationally as the market leader.

Last week, the successful Auckland business, which is owned by Megan Jaffe, won a coveted international award for the second consecutive year. The award recognises the top real estate business within Australasia’s largest franchisor, the Ray White Group.

This latest accolade follows on from the recent award also presented to Ray White Remuera by the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, naming it as the top volume-based real estate agency in New Zealand, selling the highest value of property. This award, in turn, recognises Ray White Remuera as the very best sales volume business in New Zealand.

According to Ray White Group Chairman, Brian White, Ray White Remuera’s journey to success has been nothing short of astonishing.

“Ray White Remuera is an absolutely unique business, a one-of-a-kind,” White says.

“Over the past decade, the business has grown from a handful of agents to a high functioning team of 75 – a then small business accounting for three sales in every hundred in the local areas has transformed into a market leading agency that now sells one in three homes.”

But according to White, the business is not just about selling more property – Megan’s success is based in her intuitive ability to bring out the best in people, which has resulted in a cohesive team that is easily able to adapt and thrive in a changing marketplace.

“Megan herself is dedicated to her profession, but her true skill is in developing people to a point where they not only achieve their own goals but surpass them, surprising even themselves.”

“In turn, the Ray White Remuera team consistently go above and beyond in delivering exceptional service to buyers and sellers, with reputation continuing to deliver more clients to the business over time – it’s a circling back that has benefits for everyone involved,” White adds.

Megan, who transitioned from a licensee agent to team leader in 2012 to focus on the strategic direction of the business and the mentoring of other salespeople, terms the team approach as “humbitious”.

“We are all about quality – it runs through all of our systems, technology, marketing, and service. We certainly set out to be the best and I’m so very proud of our team for their individual and collective achievements, but we are all clear that it’s our customers who have taken us to the top – all 1,400 families we helped move last year,” Megan says.

“There’s no ego involved for any of us – we are equal parts thrilled and humbled by these awards and our ambition is undaunted. Our customer commitment is that we will never become complacent with our success, or stop striving to be better.”
