Ray White raising love for Hawke’s Bay

Ray White Napier’s Chris Baylis has launched the ‘Raising Love for Hawke’s Bay’ drive, hoping that when it comes to the crunch, 1,500 packets of peanut-free biscuits would be collected to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) New Zealand.

The initiative, that started on 01 April, runs for three weeks, and the Ray White agent is hoping the no-risk-it no biscuit approach with the help of both the Hawke’s Bay community and any businesses, pays off.

“RMHC® New Zealand supports families when their child is in a New Zealand hospital away from home,” Ms Baylis said.

“Every year they offer 4,000+ families across New Zealand accommodation (in Auckland and Wellington) and offer ongoing support free of charge.

“RMHC® New Zealand says that families come back to the room after a tough day at the hospital and relax with a ‘cuppa’ and a biscuit.

“Last year, between the Auckland and Wellington houses, Hawke’s Bay families had 2,954 room nights!

“People can donate as many packets or just one packet, every bit counts – as long as they do not contain peanuts.

“Biscuits may be dropped off to either the Ray White Real Estate office in Havelock North (17 Havelock Road, Havelock North) or the Napier office (209 Dickens Street, Napier) or at the Mr Rental offices in Hastings (106a South Road, Hastings).

“Alternately, we’ll arrange to collect them.” contact Chris and the team on their Facebook page to arrange this.
