Mason Realty Limited, a member of the Ray White Group and Property South 2010 Limited a member of the First National Group wish to formally announce the merger of the companies to form one of Invercargill’s biggest real estate companies, which from early December will be known as Progressive Realty Group Limited, trading as Ray White Invercargill.
The decision to merge the companies came as an opportunity to grow the individual offices and to form a business model which provides for the companies jointly to be a stronger business of attraction and to also allow for the future of the company to be the market leader in real estate through Invercargill.
The formation of the business, to be known as Ray White Invercargill, will be part of Australasia’s biggest group with over 1,000 offices internationally and just as significantly, a leading presence through Southland and the Southern Lakes.
Carey Smith, Chief Executive of Ray White New Zealand, said that Mason Realty Limited and Property South 2010 Limited shared like values and they are two companies which have a strong market share in the area and will also combine the property management and operate from two premises on Dee Street. “The merged company, through Ray White, will have industry leading technology, one of the largest referral networks, together with a strong marketing presence locally and also nationally.”
Philip Brough, who is the director of Property South 2010 Limited, said “The merger came at a time when our company was looking to grow and being aligned with Ray White and lifting our presence in the marketplace were important considerations for the merger. Our company will lift in size to have one of the largest teams servicing the Invercargill area and our property management will now also be one of the leading portfolios in the area.”

Progressive Realty Group Limited will commence operation in early December through owners Brendan Mason and Philip Brough. The sales team will comprise of 22 members and the company will manage a property portfolio of 425. The agency will trade from two locations, being 231 Dee Street and 279 Dee Street.
