Ray White sales for November 2014 increased by 19% on the same period last year and by 35% from last month, being October 2014. The Group completed 1,201 sales transactions at an average sale price of $532,642. The number of controlled listings increased for the third month to 1,312 and this has meant there are more new properties coming to the market than there has been during the past 12 months.
Carey Smith, Chief Executive of Ray White New Zealand, said “The November results were outstanding. The top 10 offices for our company produced record results and the top 3 offices in the Group, being Ray White Remuera, Ray White Ponsonby and Ray White City Apartments achieved outstanding results; particularly Ray White Remuera, who had an all time record for an individual office completing over $65 million in property sales. With the increased number of properties coming to the market buyers are being able to make decisions by comparison. Although the days on market continue to remain consistent, given the results that are occurring buyers remain confident to purchase property in all areas across the country.”
Individually our leading businesses across New Zealand were headlined by a national record with Ray White Remuera completing over 60 sales for the month and achieving $65 million in sales turnover. Ray White Ponsonby also had an individual office record, with $40 million in sales. Ray White City Apartments were the number three office, completing 78 apartment sales for the month. Ray White Metro in Christchurch were number four with Ray White Howick being number five for the Group.
In Auckland, the Central Zone completed over $300 million worth of sales in a market that continues to polarise. All of these businesses were the leading offices in their respective zones.
The Ray White Group in Central Auckland this morning announced the Summer Sales Campaign which will give clients the opportunity to have their properties marketed over the holiday season with special campaigns supported by individual Ray White offices that will add value to the marketing of clients homes as the market continues to show signs of positive outcomes for both sellers and buyers.
The Ray White Group this month is supporting Ronald McDonald House through the Little Ray of Giving Programme undertaken by many of the offices throughout New Zealand. The programme supports those children and families who are less fortunate during the month of December when Ray White offices invite and facilitate gift giving into the local Ronald McDonald House.
