Two weeks ago Krissie Maguire and Simron Singh decided to get behind the Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. This was an inaugural event for Ray White Mission Bay, time was of the essence as Krissie and Simron had a very small window of opportunity to gather a number of the troops and put an amazing breakfast together.
Ray White Mission Bay has recently moved offices to 224 Kepa Road, an ideal location for a Pink Ribbon Breakfast. The new office was dressed and bathed in a sea of pink and white. The team contributed teacups, saucers, and platters, what an eclectic array of gorgeous china. Delicious, delicate, morsels were baked and prepared; dainty cupcakes, cucumber sammies, smoked salmon sammies, club sammies, savouries, pink meringues, melting moments, tropical fruit kebabs, croissants, ham and cheese.
A fun-filled morning where locals came out in their numbers to support such a worthy cause. Ray White team arrived dressed in pink and white, guests rose to the occasion too. The breakfast kicked off at 7:30am sharp and was hosted till 11:30am. Wayne Maguire, Ray White Auctioneer, wooed the ladies and auctioned off a number of items. Edwina Nathan, Business Development Manager for Ray White Mission Bay said, ‘we had so much fun and joy hosting this event’.
This event brought the community together, the feedback from local residents and business people was simply priceless. Presently, Ray White Mission Bay is still collecting money and will have a final tally for in a couple of days. Edwina added, ‘Wayne and Krissie were tickled pink and so very proud’ of this inaugural event. Community projects and events are something Ray White Mission Bay are interested in and love supporting, often holding charity auctions and reaching out to the wider community.
