The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand last night held their 2016 recognition evening at the Auckland Museum; hosted by Chairperson Dame Rosanne Meo together with Mike McRoberts, who was the Master of Ceremonies.
During her opening speech, Dame Rosanne Meo said the industry’s level of performance in standards of excellence continues to grow, given the industry now facilitates over 100,000 property transactions. Overall the industry is represented by close to 1,000 agencies, who were all considered for recognition during the evening.
The awards celebrate excellence across the industry and are measured by an independent panel of judges. They are reserved for the very best performing agency businesses in New Zealand.
Ray White is proud to announce that three major award-winning businesses were selected in the overall agency categories. Ray White Remuera (Megan Jaffe Real Estate Limited) was acknowledged as the leading large agency business across New Zealand for value of sales. Ray White City Apartments (City Realty Limited) was recognised as the leading volume of sales business in New Zealand; and Ray White Rolleston (Town & Lifestyle Real Estate Limited) was recognised as the leading medium sized agency based on volume of sales across New Zealand for value of sales.
The awards accepted by our Ray White members were recognised as the top categories to be awarded to individual agencies during the evening. This places Ray White Remuera and Ray White City Apartments as the leading large individual agencies in New Zealand, and recognises Ray White Rolleston as the leading medium agency in New Zealand.
Megan Jaffe, owner of Ray White Remuera, said on behalf of her team that she was humbled to receive the award. She said that her business has a consistent focus on the client’s interest at heart and the result of individual business mentoring around best outcome for clients of the business has seen, particularly in the last 12 months, the office grow to new levels of performance and most importantly, customer satisfaction.
Phil Horrobin, owner of Ray White City Apartments, who completed over 1,000 sales during the past 12 months, said the Ray White City Apartments team had exceptional market knowledge and combine this with a leading presence in marketing aligned with a depth of structure and process that they can apply to achieving successful outcomes for their sellers.
Brendan Shefford, who is part owner with Sarah Booth together with Emma George of Ray White Rolleston, said that the growth of the business during the past number of years has been exceptional. He said the personalised service level the agency offered to clients was unmatched industry-wide and their reputation for achieving successful outcomes across the Selwyn market continued to see their business grow.
The Ray White Group also had a number of finalists during the evening, including Ray White Te Awamutu (Rosetown Realty Limited) in the small agency category. Neville Kemp from the same agency was recognised as a finalist in the rural sales division. From Ray White Golden Bay (Billy Kerrisk Limited), Kate Sawyer was a finalist in the personal assistant category.
