The Ray White New Zealand Group has achieved a record sales result for May 2018, with a company personal best that exceeded over $1 billion in property transactions.
Ray White is celebrating their 25th year of being involved in the real estate industry in New Zealand and the recent celebration and recognition of the Ray White team saw members come together at Spark Arena on 24 May.
Carey Smith, Chief Executive of Ray White New Zealand said that, “the company achieving a personal best result reflected the consistent and determined approach that our sales members have in achieving results for their clients. In addition to this, the company has continued to grow with new members and this has been evidenced by the nine office Austar network that joined our company at the beginning of May. While the sales number results for the Ray White Group reflect the company’s growth; it continues to be customer satisfaction, that is independently monitored, that we believe our company has and will continue to achieve increased sales outcomes.”
At the recent recognition evening, Megan Jaffe, business owner of Ray White Remuera, celebrated being the leading office again and one of the top Customer satisfaction offices for the company. When asked about the Ray White results in May, Megan said “the Ray White Group overall has a single and focused determination to ensure their client service is the metric that is used first and foremost by the company. Collectively our group has achieved continued outcomes for our clients. Within our business at Ray White Remuera, achieving outcomes for our clients around service and results remains our constant delivery.”
While the sales numbers pushed new levels, the numbers of properties secured by Ray White was up 3% on the previous year, with 1,813 properties entrusted to Group members. This may put some overall pressure on portfolio levels as they will reduce slightly. This is the third month in a row that the portfolio has reduced given the sales numbers have exceeded the overall listing numbers.
Ray White has 166 offices across New Zealand; with 12 offices in May 2018 achieving their personal best result. This included from Northland, Ray White Whangarei. In Auckland, Ray White Mission Bay, Ray White St Heliers, and Ray White Waiheke Island. In the Central and Lower North Island; Ray White Te Puna, Ray White Hastings, Ray White Johnsonville, Ray White Kemeys Brothers, Ray White Levin, and Ray White Wanganui all had their best sales months.
The top five offices in the Group also achieved record results. This was led by Ray White Remuera who completed $74.5 million in sales; Ray White Ponsonby were the number two office, completing $45 million in transactions; while Ray White City Apartments completed just short of 100 sales. Ray White Waiheke Island, noted as having a personal best, successfully sold $34.2 million; while the Ray White Howick office achieved the number five position for the Group with $36 million of sales.
In total, there were 1,598 properties released and sold and this was at an average price that has increased by 3% to $645,000.
In the month of May 2018, Ray White welcomed the Austar Group with offices in Blockhouse Bay, Green Bay, Glen Eden, Hobsonville, Central West, Massey, New Lynn, Titirangi and their West Commercial office.
This month the Ray White Group welcomes a further 3 new offices at Verrans Corner and Grafton in Auckland and in Oxford in Canterbury.
