Ray White Glen Eden love getting behind their community and when they came across the Pink Ribbon Breakfast advertisement on Facebook, they thought it was an ideal event they could all do as an office.
Ray White Glen Eden business owner, Tom Hendriks is no stranger to community events as he and office coordinator, Jessica Hendriks, are both members of the local Rotary Club and thoroughly enjoy contributing to their community.
The Ray White Glen Eden team collaborated together to host their first Pink Ribbon Brunch in late May. The office was decorated in a sea of pink with large banners everywhere. A delectable assortment of club sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, sugar-free muffins, cakes and fruit platters along with sugar-free pink beverages were part of the menu. The team ran a quiz and a competition to ‘guess how many marshmallows are in the jar’, the closest guess receiving a bottle of bubbles and the jar of delicious marshmallows.
Throughout the Pink Ribbon Brunch hour, the office raised a total of $600.00, a fantastic result for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
