Thursday, 3rd November, saw nearly 100 Ray White franchisees across New Zealand join forces for our inaugural ‘Ray White Night – Landlord Event’ which was a huge success, seeing more than 3000 investors joining us on the night.
The idea for the event came from our network noticing that many investors across the country were not properly aware or up to date with all the legislative changes we have faced throughout 2016 and that we needed to help change this.
It was decided the best way to do this would be to band together and pool our collective resources for a night of free education and support that would be completely open to the public, having the sole aim of creating a greater understanding of the rules around managing properties and their tenants.
Guests were treated to free comprehensive Landlord Information Guides which cover all updated changes around Health and Safety, Methamphetamine, Smoke Alarms, Insulation, and more, as well information handout sheets, take home videos and hundreds of different expert speakers who presented in person at our various events.
A great night was had by all, with many of our offices carrying on well into the evening and investors thoroughly enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and various resources we provided.
Ray White New Zealand are incredibly proud of how the event has been embraced and supported by our network and by the New Zealand public, so much so that we will now be hosting this on an annual basis in order to continue educating, assisting, and raising the quality of landlords across the country.
