Ray White City Apartments are no strangers to bake sales and auctions in support of local charities. But when it came to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation’s (NZBCF) initiative of hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast the Ray White City Apartments administration team couldn’t help but go all out for such an event. Alexandra Barrow, Marketing and Administration for Ray White City Apartments said, ‘We’ve had so much fun the last two years with our bake sales and auctions, we wanted to combine them both into one event.’
The administration team rallied together auction items, with two in particular being of interest to many bidders; Murray Smith offered up his time to go on a lunch date, which went for $300.00, and Auction Manager, Cameron Brain offered a ‘Cam’s Car Cleaning Service’, which went for $200.00. Murray Smith, Ray White City Apartments licensee salesperson, dressed up in a inflatable ballerina bodysuit, which really lifted his bids for his lunch date.
The Pink Ribbon Breakfast had an impressive attendance, beautiful decadent food, pink beverages, with the highlight being the vibrant auction. Combined with auction sales and donations made via the Ray White City Apartments Pink Ribbon Breakfast website page, the team raised an enormous $4,894.30 for NZBCF.
Smith said, ‘The girls have done a wonderful job this year planning the New Zealand Breast Cancer Pink Ribbon Breakfast. It’s a fun filled day with the entire sales team getting involved in some spirited Auctions and fierce bidding. This worthy cause means a lot to our team and everyone was extremely generous on the day.’
