Ray White City Apartments put their Breast Foot Forward

PinkRibbon

This Wednesday Ray White City Apartments got their pink on, hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast to raise money in support of The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

Pink Ribbon Breakfasts are taking place all around the country this May with the aim to raise money to help Kiwi women have access to leading-edge research and investigate new treatment options for women with advanced breast cancer to allow families to keep their precious wives, mothers and sisters for longer.

With a goal to raise $1,000 for the cause, City Apartments blew past that benchmark raising over $4,500 (to date) reaching second place on the Pink Ribbon Leaderboard.

Michelle Yurak from the office said “We are absolutely overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our Ray White City Apartments Team”

Auctioneer Cameron Brain did a great job of getting every last dollar for the auctions which included wine packs, champagne, a Sky Dive off the Sky Tower, a Sky Walk, Tony’s Dinner Voucher, Workingmans Club Bar Voucher and Auction Marketing campaign donated by Phil Horrobin.

Sales Manager Murray Smith also provided some much appreciated entertainment dressing up as a baby for the event.

Organisers Christine Piggin, Amanda Fonoti and Alexandra Barrow said ‘Our team are really passionate about raising money and awareness for The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation and everyone goes to great lengths to make this an enjoyable event for everyone. The Auctions were a great success this year and there was some very competitive bidding. We look forward to our next fundraising event and the Ronald McDonald Street Appeal.”

If you would like to support the City Apartments team, donations can still be made on their Pink Ribbon Breakfast page.
