The Ray White Group held a combined annual recognition evening along with celebrating 25 years of operation in the New Zealand real estate industry. Close to 1,000 members joined together at Auckland’s Spark Arena to look back on the 25 years and to celebrate the success the Group has achieved.
The evening started with the recognition of 20 and 25 year members, who were individually presented with their tenure awards. Overall, the Group has 557 members with more than 10 years tenure. Also acknowledged on the evening was the eighth Life Member of the Group, being Simon Damerell of Ray White Ponsonby. Simon is also a previous Chief Executive Award recipient.

Our early days in New Zealand were a challenge and while we continue to share ambition with our members, it has taken the determination of many people along the journey for us to be able to celebrate our success this evening. “
The annual recognition evening focuses on performance and highlights customer satisfaction and marketing excellence. During the past 12 months, Ray White New Zealand surveyed all of its clients and customers, and the top offices and top salespeople were recognised in the area of customer experience. Marketing is a very broad platform for real estate today, including online, social, print media and other broadly distributed platforms. Ray White acknowledges marketing excellence and this year awarded three offices and three individuals with awards for excellence in the delivery of marketing.
While real estate remains a challenging industry, particularly for new start members, Ray White has always held fast to their skills and development programmes, which has seen some of the most productive salespeople produced within the industry. This year three salespeople were recognised for their achievements in their first period in real estate.
Ray White this year enters its 10th year of support of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Giving back to the community through various initiatives is one of the key acknowledgements of the Ray White awards evening. This year Ray White Ferrymead and Ray White Whangarei were acknowledged for their community work.
This year Ray White surpassed 17,000 properties under management in the group. With the continued growth in property management, celebrating outstanding service continues to be important for our group strategy. Ray White Arrowtown and Ray White Mt Maunganui were acknowledged in the area of property management together with the Property Manager of the Year and Property Management Support Person of the Year.
Ray White complete sales in the area of residential, commercial and rural for over 18,000 clients. This year Ray White acknowledged business and individual growth, customer experience, together with leading salespeople in the area of sales and also the sales office of the year. Individually, Anton Huang of Ray White Howick received the top residential sales award. Steve Koerber of Ray White Remuera was the supreme growth salesperson for the group. Philip Hunt from Ray White Tauranga Commercial was the top commercial salesperson; while Neville Kemp from Ray White Te Awamutu was acknowledged the leading rural salesperson for the year.
Ray White Remuera was the number one office in the group; while Ray White City Apartments had an outstanding year at number two. Ray White Howick also completed a record year of sales, being acknowledged as number three in the group.
