Ray White Auction Team Assists with Giving to the Next Generation

This past week has seen Ray White New Zealand Chief Auctioneer, John Bowring, raise significant funds for two terrific causes, both supporting young New Zealanders.

On Monday, in the company of some of New Zealand’s most legendary musical talent and alongside Bob Geldof and Mick Fleetwood, John helped raise funds for the Playing It Strange Foundation, which assists young people to find creative outlets through music. John auctioned a number of ‘money can’t buy’ experiences at the event held at the Vodafone Manukau Events Centre.

Only a few days later, John was back at it again at Auckland’s SkyCity Convention Centre, where he assisted The Rising Foundation to raise funds at a dinner with international supermodel Elle McPherson.

John was aided at both events by a team of Ray White colleagues to ensure every last dollar had been found in the crowd and commented that “These sorts of events are not only great entertainment, but they serve a deeper purpose in the community as they raise funds as well as profile for some really good causes. I am proud that Ray White has partnered with Duco Events to offer our auction services because, just as when we auction property, every dollar counts”.

Since the start of the year, John has assisted in raising approximately $300,000 for worthy local causes.
