Ray White Allens open annual Education Foundation scholarships

The Ray White Allens Team, consisting of offices in Whangarei, Tutukaka and Bream Bay, have recently released their 2014 Ray White Allens Education Foundation Scholarship applications.

The office set up the Allens Education Foundation as a registered charitable trust in 2006 to encourage and assist young Northlanders who are aspiring to be the best they can be. Each year the offices award up to $2,000 in individual scholarships to eligible school-leavers who are looking to achieve their career goals through further education and training.

Last year four scholarship recipients were selected from an impeccable field of applicants representing schools and families from across Northland, and since inception the Ray White Allens Team have given away more than $66,000 in scholarships to over 43 young Northlanders via the trust.

With money coming from both the offices, and Ray White Allens salespeople, the initiative is well supported by the community-minded team who also hold an annual Ray White Allens Kids Triathlon – open to school aged children across the Northland district. “Our Education Foundation Scholarships are a reflection of our values and philosophies” says John Monteith  Co-Director of Ray White Allens.  “We’re passionate about Northland and the region, and this is just one way we can give back to our local community.”

“It is always inspiring to see our offices giving back to their local communities – especially with our youth.  We would certainly hope that these scholarships will give some young Northlanders that extra boost needed to kick-start their study and future careers – and judging by the scholarship recipients to date – the Ray White Allens Scholarships are certainly achieving this.” says Graeme Fraser, Auckland Business Performance Manager for Ray White New Zealand.
