Mandy and Rajnish were always professional and polite. They took the trouble to make sure we understood issues being patient and considerate. They always treated ourselves and our home with respect.
Rajnish Kaur has no regrets about coming to live in New Zealand in 2011. In fact, she loves it so much that when she travels back to see family in India, she lasts about a month before she ‘wants to come home.’ Though born in Punjab, Rajnish spent many years living in Bahrain due to her father’s role as Project Manager for a large manufacturing business. Bahrain also has a very multicultural society, something which she credits for her easy assimilation to this country.
Though a well-educated woman with a degree in Information Technology and a solid work history in Bahrain and India, she found, like many newcomers, gaining employment in her field of study difficult. Not one to let that stand in her way, Rajnish went to work at her local Pak’n’Save supermarket. With no airs and graces, she said that she enjoyed dealing with customers immensely, something she had never had the chance to experience in her previous I.T roles. Her customers agreed, giving her managers excellent feedback, resulting in a nomination for Checkout Operator Of The Year.
Realising that this was where her talents lay, her thoughts turned to Real Estate knowing that she could continue to indulge her natural inclination to work hard, yet still meet many different people, and manage her schedule independently. Rajnish says that her friends and family describe her as a workaholic who is super focused and refuses to get distracted from her goals. Passing her real estate salesperson’s papers in three short months.
Living with her husband and children in Takanini, she is well versed in the geographical area of South Auckland.
