The Ray White Property Management seminar this year was held at the SkyCity Convention Centre and welcomed close to 200 of the Ray White Group’s property managers. Zac Snelling, National Property Management Business Performance Manager, hosted the day.

In his opening, Zac made comment about the increasing relevance of property management across New Zealand. He said “The Ray White Group increased its property management portfolio to over 16,000 in the last 12 months and the ability of the Group to provide resource and services to our property management team has never been better. This has come by way of a focus within Ray White to better understand all stakeholders within the area of property management.”

Ben White, Head of Property Management and Director of Ray White, said “The Group’s approach to property management has become broader during the past period, with an increasing emphasis on the services the Group provides, particularly around the understanding of the overall investment management of landlords properties.”

The day emphasised opportunities for a career in property management and also focused on the achievements of the Group over the last 12 month period. One of the highlights of the seminar was the release of the Real Insurance package which will be offered during May to all Ray White property management offices and will allow them to ensure there is peace of mind through insurance for landlords. The landlord insurance programme is a national incentive for Ray White members in property management to offer to landlords and investors.

Other speakers to present at the property management day included Gerri Keays, Head of Skills and Development for property management in Ray White. Jimi Hunt, well known entrepreneur, author and founder of Live More Awesome. Another of the keynote speakers was Malcolm Rands, founder of the EcoStore brand.

The Ray White Group throughout New Zealand manage over 16,000 properties on behalf of landlords and investors. The Group has over 300 specialised and highly skilled property managers, who offer services from over 90 offices throughout New Zealand.
