June Sales Results Increase by 31%

The Ray White Group for July 2012 produced an increase in sales results that was 31% ahead of the corresponding month in 2011 but was down on the May 2012 sales by 11%. The Group completed unconditional sales of just over $400 million.

The number one office in New Zealand for June was Ray White City Apartments with 82 sales. This office also listed 101 exclusive properties and 19 auctions. Ray White Papamoa recorded a record result with $18.5 million in sales. The Ray White Ponsonby office completed sales of $19.5 million. Ray White Remuera and Ray White Howick were also in the top five offices nationally.

Ray White Whangarei was the top office in Northland. The new Ray White office at Paihia also recorded a good result with $3.5 million in sales. This region increased its results in comparison to the same time last year by over 200%. This however is more representative of the Ray White growth, with six new offices joining this zone in the last 12 months.

The Auckland market saw a strong lift in auction and exclusive listings, with the sales volume for June up by 13%. Year to date the Auckland market is 31% stronger than the previous 12 months.

Ray White Papamoa, Ray White Hamilton and Ray White Mt Maunganui were the top offices in the Central North Island. There was a strong increase in this zone of over 150%. This is again directly linked to the Ray White growth of seven new offices contributing to this region.

The Lower North top office was Ray White Wanganui. This area stretches from Wellington through to Taupo and has year to date increases of 34%.

The Upper South Island is one of Ray White’s leading market share areas. The top office for June was Ray White Richmond with $7.5 million in sales. Ray White Nelson and Ray White Stoke also recorded good results.

The Canterbury region continues to rebound strongly with sales up 64% on the previous year. Ray White Metro, Ray White Rolleston and Ray White Full Circle were the top offices.

In the Lower South Island, Ray White Invercargill had a successful month, with Ray White Arrowtown and Ray White Dunedin also completing good results.

During June the Ray White Group welcomed a new office in Lower Hutt and confirmed new franchise locations in Wanaka, Grey Lynn and Broadway Newmarket.
