Jackie (along with David Whitehead) has gone above and beyond for my parents in selling their house. It was hard work but she has persevered with us, and used every skill she has and not given up. I would like to pass on my thanks to Ray White and the team at Next Step Realty for assisting us to sell our home. While we initially took on the sale of our house ourselves www.valleyroad.co.nz, we found that it was difficult to get anyone to commit to putting any offer on paper. I feel that because you have a vested interest in the house itself, it makes it difficult to be impartial and consume a lot of the feedback from individuals. We had numerous people through the property and carried out everything in a very professional manner (we even had shirts made for the open homes with all the documentation and professional photos). With the inability to gain even a verbal offer let alone a written offer over six weeks of multiple open home per week, we had to make a decision as to what to do to get our house sold. We approach a number of Real Estate agents in the area and Next Step Realty stood out as a company that could provide the complete package in a professional manner. They took on the property, had good success in promoting it, getting people to the open homes, kept us informed with online updates and personal meetings. After two weeks they had multiple people that were hot on the property and facilitated over the next week to secure an unconditional offer on the property that we were pleased with. My view was always a negative one in regards to Real Estate Agents as I felt that it was money they received for nothing. After going through the process with them, understanding all aspects that are taken into consideration, how they use multiple team members working on the property ate any one time, and the key point, the ability for them to secure written offers has changed my view completely. A last note that I feel is very important: We felt that they were working for us and not the purchaser which we feel is very important and we are the customer. Once again, thanks for selling our property in such a short time while maintaining a professional approach.
