This Sunday Ray White Beach Haven are having a Garage Sale from 8am-2pm at the House of Dreams, 43 Rangatira Road in Beach Haven.
They have had lots of interest and donations put forward, clothes, tables, books, a lounge suite, and a kitchen sink! On the day they will have face painting for the kids (and adults!), a sausage sizzle and even a bouncy castle! The Plunket ladies have been baking up treats as well, not to mention the Jitta Buzz mobile coffee van will be there to get your daily coffee fix if need be. This will be a really fun day for the family, so come down! Bear in mind it is a fundraiser, so you’ll need a few coins in the pocket. A quick update on the House of Dreams
The last few weeks have been progressing nicely. We have scaffolding put up all around the house thanks to Orange Scaffolding, trees and hedges removed and all cleared away by the Tree Fellas crew, have had Travis and Byron from Wolfpack Construction over most days doing some professional demolition and some fantastic volunteer work prepping the exterior for a much needed paint. Looking forward to McDermond Plumbing, Aotea Electric Ltd and Mammoth Insulation to come and replumb, rewire and insulate the whole house – big steps to the final result!
What we are in need of is helpers! So every Saturday from 9am onwards the house will be open and we will be there for ‘Community Painting’ Days. If you or anyone you know could spare an hour or two at the house helping out, we would be so grateful and help the project along that much quicker.
We are still in need of a bathroom supplier, a gib stopper, and a painting contractor. Please have a think about who you know that could help us out and put the hard word on them for us.
