February Sales Results Consistent

Ray White New Zealand recorded sales that were 4% up on February 2017 and up considerably on January 2018. The result saw the company sell 978 properties, with a total value of close to $600 million.

Much of the activity for the month was centred on new listings, which increased 7% and the company being entrusted to sell 1,861 properties exclusively. While the number of properties coming onto the market is not unexpected, the level of sales indicate that there will be a good supply of property available to purchasers and March will continue to see new listings available across all regions.

In February, the top five offices across the nation were Ray White Remuera, who completed $35 million in turnover. Ray White Whangarei, who not only celebrated 60 completed sales but also achieved a personal best sales result for the month. Ray White City Apartments were the number three office; with Ray White Ponsonby and Ray White Wanaka both having successful months and finishing number four and number five respectively.

As noted, Ray White Whangarei had a personal best result. In Canterbury, Ray White Pegasus and Ray White Bishopdale also had personal best office sales results. In the North, Ray White Great Barrier achieved their personal best.

The market outlook for March will see an increase in listing and sales activity. March is traditionally one of the highest sales months of the year and with interest rates continuing to remain at low levels and now stability with the government and their policies being known, it will give the market consistency in the volume of turnover.

Ray White this month welcomed new owners at Ray White Bream Bay. There is a new property management office located at Lincoln. The company has also renewed its agreements with Ray White Birkenhead, Ray White Asset Rentals, and, in the Bay of Plenty, Ray White Papamoa and Ray White Mt Maunganui have recommitted to the Group.

Ray White New Zealand this week announced their recognition evening which will coincide with the 25 Year anniversary of the company and this is to be held at Spark Arena in Auckland on 24 May 2018. Tickets are available through raywhiteawards.co.nz.
