Ray White Licensee Salesperson, Nicolette Aldridge from Ray White Plenty will be jumping out of her comfort zone and skin when she skydives in the Drop Your Boss Bay of Plenty 2017 fundraiser in April to raise money for the Graeme Dingle Foundation.
Nicolette joins a number of ‘bosses’ throughout the Bay of Plenty region for this event as it provides the chance to understand the challenges and fears many young people feel on a daily basis through the experience of being ‘dropped’ out of the sky!
A brave Nicolette says, ‘Being a mother of two teenagers, the Graeme Dingle Foundation is dear to my heart in terms of supporting the youth of today. The Foundation offers fantastic programmes to help transform the lives of teenagers who are dealing with everyday pressures. Bullies, staying in school and self-confidence/self-image are some of the issues that teenagers have to face today.’
The Graeme Dingle Foundation aims to inspire all school age children to reach their full potential through programmes that help build self-esteem, promote good values and which teach valuable life, education and health skills.
Being dropped from plane thousands of feet in the air is a massive challenge for Nicolette as she is scared of heights! Nicolette says, ‘I’m petrified of heights, but all I keep thinking of is what it would be like as a teenager facing modern day pressures of today’s world.’ Nicolette is fundraising through a Give A Little Page, any donations of support would be greatly appreciated and help the Foundation improve the services they offer teenagers in the community.
