High energy Ray White sales-team Mike Mattson and Donna McMillan of Ray White Royal Oak are regularly involved with local events in the community and known for using creative ideas to help others and raise their real estate profile at the same time.
Most recently they helped sponsor the Royal Oak Primary School Carnival. On the day of the fair they ran a photo-booth so the schoolchildren could get their pictures taken. “It was a popular stop for lots of people,” Mike said “and the $2 cost of each photo went into the fundraising kitty for the school.”
“Our booth was extra fun though because it wasn’t all about just getting the photo,” Donna said. “We provided a huge dress-up box too so all the kids got to try on wigs and crowns and other fancy-dress outfits with cool accessories to match. I would say they got as much enjoyment out of choosing what they were going to wear as getting their actual photos at the end!”
Donna and Mike had the Ray White logo, their contact details, and the carnival icon all stamped on the bottom of the photos. “It profiled us and emphasised our partnership with the school too,” Donna said “And the great thing about those photos is they are likely to be kept and enjoyed for a long time.”
Mike and Donna also made the most of their time at the booth by encouraging waiting relatives to jot down their details and receive a monthly market report from Ray White. “Many people were appreciative of the offer,” Mike said. “And we added incentive by having one lucky person win an iPad in our draw at the end of the day.”
