Collective Strength of Ray White Property Management in Canterbury

PM Cars CHCH online story

Recently Zac Snelling, Ray White New Zealand Property Management National Business Development Executive, held a Property Management training session in Christchurch with 30 property managers from all over the Canterbury region and one attending from as far south as Te Anau.

The Property Management training session was a full day and went through a number of important upcoming changes, including; Government legislation changes, in-depth work around new health and safety regulations, and also the ever-topical subject of Methamphetamine safety. Not only this, but the team also had a successful brainstorming session around the practicability of all the recent changes to our industry and how best to work these into their daily roles.

This session was incredibly well received considering that the topics being trained that day can be ‘slightly harder to digest compared to some more ‘glamorous’ training topics’ as Zac puts it. Veronica Monaghan from Ray White Ashburton said, ‘Great training session, I really appreciated all the resources and information Zac provided to help us with the upcoming legislation changes. It was great being able to interact with everyone at the session and getting some ideas on how others are working.’

Collective discussions were had of how to positively process these changes and change of direction the industry is taking back towards regulation – and ultimately why this is a great thing for us, our industry and our clients. Elizabeth Goulding from McPherson Property Management said, ‘We really appreciated having Zac in Christchurch – with all the new compliance requirements it was extremely helpful for our team to go over this and have his input as well as some shared discussion around the issues with other Ray White offices.’
