Days on market still remain at their lowest level and also price increases of in excess of 10% have been experienced in many areas. The market share for Ray White Canterbury, which includes Christchurch, Selwyn and South Canterbury, has lifted to 26.8% with the top market share offices being Ray White Rolleston at 56.2% and Ray White Lincoln at 48.6%.

The new sole agency agreements were released to members that sit in line with the Code of Conduct that was amended on 8 April 2013. The group is well educated on the changes within the Code of Conduct. The first release of the sole agency agreements are now in use throughout the market and these will be reviewed prior to the end of April.

The Ray White Canterbury team have been part of the group’s customer satisfaction survey which rates the performance of each of our individual offices together with the individual licensee. Ray White Canterbury have been one of the highest performers and this is in an environment where disclosure and due diligence is of the highest importance.

Julie Ryan, South Island Business Performance Manager, said “The Canterbury zone was producing outstanding results. The auction marketing has been a highlight of the group’s performance and this has consistently seen high success rates on behalf of Ray White clients.” She also added that with the new office in Ashburton and the opening of the remodelled Ray White Metro agency this gave the group a significant boost.

The Canterbury zone has 18 offices and the group regularly meets for strategic direction on a quarterly basis.
