I want to let you know how pleased we are with the results of the auction. Your marketing strategy was absolutely right for the property. With more than 100 people through the three open homes there was plenty of interest generated for auction day. And what a day! The street was absolutely full of cars and they just kept coming. A top auctioneer, a find day and a well-managed property with 12 active bidders = very satisfied vendors. We were more than happy with the price obtained and all this took just over a month from start to finish. In a very difficult market, Babette took over a property we previously had with another agency and put it in an auction campaign. Although we did not sell it on Auction day, Babette worked tirelessly with prospective buyers to get a sale. She had to bring 2 buyers together as the property consisted of two dwellings with a commercial component – this meant working through the resource consent process of subdivision, so the buyers could secure separate pieces for the respective properties. With all the work Babette did, in the end we achieved a very good result from this sale
