Rohan Thompson of Ray White Royal Oak is a top salesperson and business owner in the Royal Oak area and he is also known for his kind support and generosity to the students of Royal Oak primary school.
A family-man and father of young school-children, Rohan found it hard to watch the youngest students shivering with cold prior to their school rugby games in the weekend. Mid-winter of 2012 he went out and purchased 30 Rippa Rugby tracksuits for the team of 5 and 6 year olds. Everyone was delighted with the result. “Not only were they all warmly dressed,” Rohan said “But it was also great to see them kitted out in modern uniforms that actually fit them properly. It made for a much smarter representation of the school.”
Rohan didn’t stop there. Later that year he also kitted out the rugby team of another age bracket at the school. And as those Rugby teams continue to progress throughout their school years, he plans to meet their growing uniform needs along the way. The school have been very appreciative and informed Rohan that some of the school uniforms previously supplied were up to 15 years old.”
But Rohan’s heart for the primary school and uniforms didn’t stop with the rugby teams! Last month he ordered new sports clothes and dress uniform for the school to completely fit out the netball, athletics, swimming, choir, cultural and orchestral groups too.
“The making of these uniforms is underway now and should be completed within the next 6 weeks,” Rohan said. “Really, it is 100% my pleasure to be able to help. The local community has been such a source of support to me in my career over the years that the opportunity to give back now is something I also appreciate.”
