On Friday 26th June and approximately 400 people gathered at the Christchurch Transitional Cathedral to be a part of the annual Ronald McDonald House “Supper Club” fundraiser.
After a welcome and a few formalities some nibbles and drinks the skills of the Ray White Metro Auctioneer Owen Patterson and his spotters Tony McPherson and Richard Withy were put to the test as they began the first of 11 auctions. Some very generous and enthusiastic bidding keeps the team on their toes and ensures that an outstanding total was raised for the Ronald McDonald House.
Company’s organisations and individuals were invited to attend this event by purchasing a dining experience for a table for eight at an unknown destination. At the conclusion of the auction a draw was made to determine which dining experience would be allocated to which table, there were some exceptional venues and some top class chefs participating to make for an exciting evening.
A total of around $97,000 was raised for this very worthwhile organisation and as a team Ray White Metro was proud to be a part of this very unique evening.
