Ray White Drury, Manurewa, and Takanini Support Jammies in June

Jammies

This June the team from Sue Douglas Property Services including the Ray White Drury, Manurewa and Takanini offices are supporting the Kidz First and Middlemore Foundation campaign Jammies in June.

The campaign aims to raise awareness and funds as well as collecting pyjamas for some of New Zealand’s most vulnerable children helping to prevent the contraction of respiratory illnesses.

Last year the Middlemore Foundation was able to provide over 5,000 pyjamas to Kidz First Children’s Hospital patients including their brothers and sisters.

Only mid way through this years month initiative, Middlemore Foundation spokeswoman Ankita Luthra said donations had topped $20,000 cash and 5,000 pairs of pyjamas. But they hope to double this by the time the month is out.

The team at Drury, Manurewa and Takanini are well on their way to help with this, donating two pairs of flannelette pyjamas for every new property management and every property sold in June – one pair from the office and the other on behalf of the property owner.

The offices will also be collecting personal donations of new flannelette pyjamas from the community.
