Ray White April Sales Surge Forward

Arrow UpThe Ray White Group results for April 2015 were a record for the month of April and were also the second highest in the company’s history. The sales results were 51% ahead of the same period last year and 8% above March 2015.

Our group members completed 1,296 transactions at an average sale price of over $590,000. In regards to the number of listings secured, these dropped to 1,347 and that decreased the overall listing portfolio of the Group to be under 8,000 properties across all divisions.

Carey Smith, Chief Executive of Ray White New Zealand, said “The April results came from strong listings for the company during the first quarter of 2015. The company has focused on increased marketing for properties and has ensured that the level of activity around each property has increased. The individual results showed a new record of sales in Auckland, with Canterbury and the Lower South Island also recording increases. The balance of the areas across New Zealand remained consistent.”

The top three businesses across New Zealand were led by Ray White Remuera, who completed a personal best sales result of $63.5 million in turnover. Ray White City Apartments were the Group’s second strongest office, with 87 completed transactions. Ray White Central Auckland Commercial featured as the number three office for the Group, continuing their strong run of commercial sales with $56 million completed.

The record results across the Group meant that many offices had personal best results during the month. These were headlined by Ray White Remuera, who, for the second month running, completed the highest single residential sales for an individual office at $63.5 million.

Across the country; in Northland, Ray White Whangarei featured in the top 10 offices in New Zealand and were also the number one office in the Northland region. Other offices in Northland who compelted record months were Ray White Kaitaia and Ray White Mangawhai. In the Central North Island, Ray White Te Awamutu completed $11.5 million in residential sales to complete a record month. Outstanding sales were also achieved by Ray White Hamilton and Ray White Mt Maunganui. The Lower North Island saw the highest volume of sales achieved by Ray White Lower Hutt. Ray White Upper Hutt and Ray White Palmerston North also had good levels of sales. In the Upper South Island the leading business was Ray White Richmond, while Ray White Golden Bay achieved record sales. In the Canterbury region, Ray White Metro were the leading business. Ray White Rolleston and Ray White Next Step both had a high volume of sales turnover. The Lower South Island saw the zone complete a record level of sales, with Ray White Wanaka, Ray White Dunedin and Ray White Arrowtown all completing in excess of $6 million in sales volume.

The Ray White Group will this month welcome new offices in Wigram in Christchurch, Drury in South Auckland, and Te Puke in the Bay of Plenty.
