The Ray White Group results for February 2015 lifted by 40% on the same period last year and was also a substantial increase on the January 2015 results.
February saw a good surge in the number of new listings coming to the market, with 1,261 properties being listed by sole agency. This lifted the total portfolio held by the Group to 8,797. The average sale price, again, increased to $547,197, with the number of sales being completed by the Group totalling 967. There was a noticeable rise in the properties listed and sold by auction which represented over 30% of the Group’s sales.
Carey Smith, Chief Executive of Ray White New Zealand, said “February’s results continue to show the confidence in the market, particularly across Auckland, where the Group recorded a record for an individual February trading month. Given there are more properties coming to the market, there is an expectation that March will also see a high volume of listing and selling.”
There were some outstanding results across the Ray White Group in February. The three top businesses were Ray White Remuera, who achieved over $43 million in released sales; Ray White City Apartments, who sold 67 properties during the month; and Ray White Ponsonby, who again produced outstanding sales results, particularly in the area of auction.
Individually, our leading businesses across New Zealand was headlined by Ray White Remuera. In Northland, Ray White Whangarei continued to produce strong results and also featured in the top 10 for New Zealand. Ray White Hamilton in the Central North Island and Ray White Lower Hutt in the Lower North Island were the leading offices in their respective zones. Ray White Richmond again completed an excellent sales month, while Ray White Metro and Ray White Full Circle were the top offices in Canterbury and were represented in the New Zealand top 10 offices. Ray White Dunedin had another standout month in their area.
The Ray White Group has recently launched the Swing Into Autumn campaign which will provide clients with the opportunity to be part of the March National Marketing Statement, which allows clients to have specific areas of their marketing packages upgraded or to have discounts available in the various areas of marketing.
