Ray White is excited to confirm that we are entering a team, led by our Chief Executive Carey Smith, in the 2013 Sky Tower Stair Challenge on Friday, 10th May 2013. The team from Ray White will include Wayne Maguire, who is the owner of Ray White Mission Bay; Cheryl Hayes from Ray White Whangarei; Gina Pepere-Lim from the Ray White corporate office; and John Tanner who owns Espresso Valet at Sylvia Park and Botany Town Centre.
The Sky Tower Stair Challenge involves running up 51 stories of Sky Tower and the team will be doing this in support of the Leukemia and Blood Cancer Foundation of New Zealand.
Our team have been training throughout the last month, including venues such as the Lumley Centre, Vero Tower, Herne Bay stairs, Whangarei Wharf and also Cliff Road in St Heliers.
Wayne Maguire from Ray White Mission Bay said that the Sky Tower Stair Challenge was very testing and that the team are training well. “The 51 stories should take us around 10-15 minutes individually and as part of the challenge we are helping the Leukemia and Blood Cancer Foundation in their fundraising.”
Carey Smith, Chief Executive of Ray White New Zealand, said “We decided to do the Sky Tower Stair Challenge after getting our group together. It is not something we have tried as a team or individually before but we are looking forward at being part of the event and representing Ray White and fundraising for the Leukemia and Blood Cancer Foundation.”
